Yes. All 93+ rules and 4 skills are MIT licensed and free forever. You can use them with any AI coding tool, fork the repo, and modify rules to fit your needs.
What AI coding tools are supported?
BeforeMerge works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, and any tool that supports the skills protocol. Install with one command and the rules load automatically.
When will the Pro plan be available?
We're building the SaaS platform now. Join the waitlist to be notified when Pro launches and to get early access pricing.
Can I create my own rules?
Absolutely. The rule format is documented and you can contribute new rules to the open source repo. With the upcoming Pro plan, you'll also be able to create private rules for your organization.
Do I need to change my CI/CD pipeline?
Not for the open source version. Install a skill and your AI coding tool uses the rules immediately. The upcoming Pro plan will offer CI/CD integration for automated PR scanning.
